Basketball Game Preview: Green Canyon Wolves vs. Timpanogos Timberwolves

The Green Canyon Wolves will take on the Timpanogos Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Green Canyon lost to Sky View at home by a 47-32 margin. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 11-5 in the first quarter.

Despite their defeat, Green Canyon saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Talyssa Nelson, who went 6 for 15 en route to 14 points, was perhaps the best of all. Kloey Tensmeyer was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Timpanogos, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down Orem 53-35 on Thursday. The Timberwolves pushed the score to 41-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers cut but never quite recovered from.

Green Canyon has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Timpanogos, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.
