Despite scoring zero points in the third, the Indians still trailed by four points going into the fourth quarter. But six points in the fourth helped Pinson Valley pull out the victory.
The loss came as a surprise for the Tigers, who entered the game ranked No. 25 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Alabama, while PV was ranked No. 88.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Pinson school, which lost to Briarwood Christian last week, 23-13. The defeat comes as a step back for Hartselle, which notched a 38-31 victory over Austin in its previous outing.
