Berkley lost to Athens back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Berkley Bears put the hurt on the Athens Red Hawks with a sharp 51-28 victory. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Madi Bonsall, who went 7 for 9 on her way to 15 points. Caleigh Tracey was another key player, putting up eight points along with 12 boards and three blocks.

Berkley's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points per game. As for Athens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.
