Soccer Game Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. Jones

Tuloso-Midway is 0-9-1 against Jones since January of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees will take on the Jones Trojans at 7:30 p.m.

Tuloso-Midway is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Calallen on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Jones kept a clean sheet against Ingleside on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. The Trojans' winning goal came courtesy of Emily Olivares.

Jones is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those six games. Tuloso-Midway's loss dropped their record down to 12-8-1.

Tuloso-Midway suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Jones in their previous meeting back in February. Can Tuloso-Midway avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
