Lyanna Cazares Game Report: vs Liberty

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Lyanna Cazares stepped things up a notch to give Independence the 'W'. Cazares scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long.

Cazares' strong effort led Independence over Liberty and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled on Friday. The Falcons have some work to do to even out the 1-7 series between these two since March of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
