E.E. Smith had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They escaped with a win against the Terry Sanford Bulldogs by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-58 last Saturday.

E.E. Smith has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game.
