Lyons entered their tilt with Geneva on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Geneva Panthers 57-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Lyons' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Lyons and Geneva should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Lyons (ranked 153rd) will meet Sodus (ranked 546th) at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Similarly, Geneva will take on Penn Yan Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 540 places (162 vs. 702).
