The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Cosby nor Powhatan made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Indians 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Kammie Walter was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Cosby's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Powhatan, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cosby will square off against Deep Run at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Powhatan, they will face off against Thomas Dale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
