Geraldine is a perfect 4-0 against Valley Head since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Geraldine and eight for Valley Head.

On Monday, Geraldine didn't have quite enough to beat Westbrook Christian and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Geraldine sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 20-25, 17-15.

Despite the loss, Geraldine had strong showings from Cassie Burns, who had 18 digs and three aces, and Mylee Pittman, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Valley Head came up short against Ider on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 12-23. As for Valley Head, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Geraldine was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley Head in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
