Softball Recap: Cumberland Pirates vs. Sullivan Redskins

Cumberland won the last time they faced Sullivan, and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cumberland Pirates had just enough and edged the Sullivan Redskins out 11-9.

Mia Holsapple spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Libby McGinnis and Jade Carr did most of the damage at the plate: McGinnis went 3-for-4 with four RBI, a triple, and a run, while Carr scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5.
