Basketball Recap: Bonny Eagle's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Bonny Eagle had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 54-42 victory over the Lewiston Blue Devils on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-40 back in December of 2024.

Bonny Eagle's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Lewiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Bonny Eagle and Lewiston could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Maine Rankings. Bonny Eagle will take on Noble at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 72 places (75 vs. 3). Meanwhile, Lewiston (ranked 41st) will meet Cheverus (ranked tenth) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
