Volleyball Game Preview: Central Catholic Raiders vs. Lawrence Lancers

The Central Catholic Raiders will square off against the Lawrence Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Central Catholic lost 3-0 to Methuen on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Lawrence came up short against Andover on Monday and fell 3-1.

Lawrence was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Andover work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 29-27, 21-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.
