Recap: Plymouth Big Red vs. South Central Trojans

The Plymouth Big Red's six-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 67-45 margin over South Central. Plymouth's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, South Central still got an impressive performance from Gunner Ray, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Eric Sanders, who scored six points.

Plymouth's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for South Central, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth will take on Crestline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crestline has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for South Central, they will be playing at home against Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca East presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Central in Ohio (Seneca East is ranked 250th, while South Central is ranked 790th).
