Greyhills Academy is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 23rd straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They were beaten by Hopi 64-30.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask El Capitan). They breezed by Shonto Prep to the tune of 101-18 on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 26 points or more this season.

El Capitan's win came from a few key players Greyhills Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jairus Hammon, who went 7 for 14 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and three steals. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Brayden Hammon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

El Capitan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 offensive rebounds per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 12.5.

The victory (which was El Capitan's third in a row) raised their record to 11-11. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Greyhills Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.
