Doddridge County came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-8 on Saturday.

Madelyn Barker looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 18 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brooke Dehaven was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 matchups. Kamryn Satterfield was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Doddridge County hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
