Basketball Recap: Jalen Geffers' Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Grand over North Park

West Grand was the 44-42 winner over North Park when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The West Grand Mustangs took a hard 46-32 fall against the North Park Wildcats on Tuesday.

West Grand's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jalen Geffers, who posted nine points.

West Grand has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. The victory got North Park back to even at 10-10.

West Grand does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Park, they will face off against Soroco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Park is facing Soroco at the right time seeing as Soroco is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
