Fort Payne entered their tilt with Gaylesville on Monday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Fort Payne was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-10, 25-0.

Callie Elmore went supernova, getting 17 aces. Those 17 aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Chadwick, who had 17 assists and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: Fort Payne was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 34 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matchups.

Fort Payne's victory bumped their record up to 26-6. As for Gaylesville, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
