Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee was the 2-0 winner over Tharptown when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Wildcats on Saturday. Indians fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Saturday.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Tharptown, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Cherokee will venture away from home to face off against Colbert Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tharptown, they will host Red Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
