Basketball Recap: Xenia Takes a Loss

Xenia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 41-25 bruising from the Greenville Green Wave. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-27 back in December of 2024.

Xenia's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Greenville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xenia will host Troy at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Xenia is facing Troy at the right time seeing as Troy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Greenville has already played their next matchup (against Stebbins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
