Softball Recap: North Lamar Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. North Lamar fell just short of Mabank by a score of 3-2. North Lamar hasn't had much luck with Mabank recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

North Lamar now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mabank, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Coming up, North Lamar will take on Sam Rayburn in a tournament on Thursday. As for Mabank, they will be taking part in a tournament against Gunter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
