Volleyball Recap: Oswego Indians vs. St. Paul Indians

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last three times Oswego and St. Paul have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. Oswego took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Paul. Oswego was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as St. Paul apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

Autumn Neblett paced Oswego's offense, picking up three kills. Neblett got some help from Kodi Trimble and her six assists. Ashton Schulz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Oswego's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 7-17.

Coming up, Oswego will face off against Jayhawk Linn on Thursday. The Jayhawks will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Paul, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Yates Center on the 30th.
