Softball Recap: Chelsea Victorious

Chelsea lost to Hazel Green back in May of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Hornets came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 4-1.

Alaysha Crews spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

On the hitting side, Chelsea saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lorelei Beck, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Chelsea's victory bumped their record up to 25-13-2. As for Hazel Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-13.

Chelsea has already played their next game, an 8-3 win against Buckhorn on the 19th. As for Hazel Green, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-5 victory against Helena on the 19th.
