Softball Recap: Warwick Comes Up Short

Warwick came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-1 to the Menchville Monarchs. The Raiders have struggled against the Monarchs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Menchville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Menchville beat Warwick by a score of 14-1 later that day.
