Recap: Golda Och Academy vs. Yavneh Academy Bulldogs
Golda Och Academy lost against the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Golda Och Academy took a serious blow against Yavneh Academy, falling 55-28. Golda Och Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Yavneh Academy was led to victory by Sam Rael and Joe Schwartz. Rael scored 9 points, while Schwartz scored 12 points. Rael hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Darren Sacher, who scored 6 points.
Golda Och Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Yavneh Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Golda Och Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cedar Grove at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Yavneh Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poetry Community Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Poetry Community Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1056th, while Yavneh Academy is ranked 381st).
