Grafton is 8-2 against Oxford since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Gators will face off against the Pirates at 5:15 p.m. Grafton is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Grafton came up short against Nashoba Regional and fell 3-1.

Grafton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 25-11, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Oxford also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Southbridge by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-28, 25-15, 25-20.

Oxford's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Grafton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Grafton took their win against Oxford when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
