Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Minerva Lions. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Minerva, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carrollton will venture away from home to challenge Marlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dukes will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Minerva, they are taking a road trip to take on West Branch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
