Baseball Recap: North Montgomery Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North Montgomery put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Seeger Patriots 9-3. This was payback for the Chargin' Chargers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aiden Ambriz-Cruz and Cade Cole did most of the damage at the plate: Ambriz-Cruz scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Cole got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one double and one RBI. Ambriz-Cruz is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Hinds, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

North Montgomery's record is now 3-0. As for Seeger, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

North Montgomery has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 victory against Cascade on the 12th. As for Seeger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-3 win against Southmont on the 14th.
