Harper Creek has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lakeshore Lancers, falling 11-5. The Beavers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brayden Bess made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Leamy, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Harper Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7-1. As for Lakeshore, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-7.

Harper Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeshore, they will face off against Dowagiac at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
