Volleyball Game Preview: South Kingstown Rebels vs. Pilgrim Patriots

The South Kingstown Rebels are taking a road trip to challenge the Pilgrim Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Kingstown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: West Warwick, who was ranked 15th at the time (South Kingstown was ranked 24th). The Rebels lost 3-0 to the Wizards on Thursday. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Pilgrim came up short against Woonsocket on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Villa Novans: they've now lost three in a row.

South Kingstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Pilgrim, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
