McClave came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wiley Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: McClave took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-6.

Kristen Marks was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

McClave's victory bumped their record up to 20-2. As for Wiley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

McClave will host Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Wiley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
