Preview: Sandoval Blackhawks vs. Ramsey Rams

Sandoval is 9-1 against Ramsey since November of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sandoval Blackhawks the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Ramsey Rams at 6:15 p.m. on January 16th.

Last Thursday, Sandoval lost to Nokomis at home by a decisive 58-40 margin.

Meanwhile, Ramsey was able to grind out a solid win over Southwestern on Tuesday, taking the game 44-31. The victory was just what Ramsey needed coming off of a 66-41 defeat in their prior match.

Ramsey got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelsey Hayes out in front who scored six points along with 16 rebounds. Hayes hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Micah Greenwood, who scored seven points along with five rebounds.

Sandoval's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-13. As for Ramsey, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.
