Beloit takes loss despite strong efforts from Eli Johnson and Bryce Beisner

Recap: Beloit Trojans vs. Olathe North Eagles

After a string of ten wins, the Beloit Trojans's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They received a tough blow as they fell 67-49 to Olathe North. If Beloit hoped to take revenge for the 53-34 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.

Beloit's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Beisner, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds, and Eli Johnson who scored 14 points. Quinn Eilert was another key contributor, scoring four points along with two blocks.

Beloit's defeat dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Olathe North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beloit and Sacred Heart will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sacred Heart is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Olathe North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blue Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
