Dylan Puent commands the offense for a Deaf Hoosiers win

Recap: Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers vs. Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles

On Saturday, it was close, but Indiana School for the Deaf sidestepped Cambridge City Lincoln for a 52-50 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Indiana School for the Deaf.

Indiana School for the Deaf's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Puent, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Puent has scored at least 25% of Indiana School for the Deaf's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden DeFalco, who scored ten points along with five assists and five steals.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Munchel, who scored 14 points. The game was Munchel's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryne Sturgis, who scored 18 points.

Indiana School for the Deaf pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indiana School for the Deaf will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Fortune Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. Cambridge City Lincoln and North Decatur will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. North Decatur presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cambridge City Lincoln in Indiana (North Decatur is ranked 116th, while Cambridge City Lincoln is ranked 316th).
