Volleyball Recap: Kenosha Tremper Trojans vs. Racine Horlick Rebels

If Kenosha Tremper was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hmong American Peace Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Racine Horlick Rebels by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Trojans were not able to make up for their loss to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Kenosha Tremper sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 14-25, 19-17.

Braden Snyder paced Kenosha Tremper's offense, picking up 17 kills. Snyder got some help from Connor Sporer and his 25 assists. Dylan Simonis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-4. As for Racine Horlick, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Kenosha Tremper has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wilmot on the 13th. As for Racine Horlick, they will face off against Kenosha Bradford at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Rebels their first taste of in-conference action this season.
