Football Game Preview: Hercules Titans vs. St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins

The Hercules Titans will square off against the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hercules took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They breezed past Richmond to the tune of 35-6. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Oilers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. Patrick-St. Vincent didn't have too much trouble with Albany on Friday as they won 22-6.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's win came from a few key players Hercules will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Dylan Santos, who rushed for 127 yards. Curtis Berry IV was another key player, punching in two rushing scores.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's defense made their presence known, laying out Muhammad Amin three times. In that department, Jaeden Burgstaller-Woody was the leader with two sacks. He also made six total tackles, which is notable because St. Patrick-St. Vincent is undefeated when he posts at least four total tackles, but 2-3 otherwise.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hercules, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6.
