Victor is 8-2 against Rush-Henrietta since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Victor Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets at 7:15 p.m.

Victor might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-52 to Webster Thomas, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 255th, while the Titans are ranked 67th).

Meanwhile, Rush-Henrietta put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 59-52 victory over Webster Thomas.

Victor better keep an eye on Avery Council. He was instrumental in Rush-Henrietta's win, going 12 of 15 en route to 29 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Taggart was another key player, putting up 13 points and three steals.

Rush-Henrietta pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Victor, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Victor came up short against Rush-Henrietta when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 64-54. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Council, who went 12 for 19 on his way to 34 points and seven boards. Now that Victor knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
