Football Recap: Palmetto Ridge Bears vs. Ida Baker Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), Palmetto Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Ida Baker Bulldogs 22-19. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2017.
Isaac Garcia was the offensive standout of the match as he picked up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Palmetto Ridge's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ida Baker, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
