Basketball Recap: Ridgway Comes Up Short

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 46-18 loss at the hands of the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elker this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-12 two weeks ago.

Ridgway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgway will take on Bradford at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Ridgway is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for DuBois Central Catholic, they will square off against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Curwensville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.
