Basketball Recap: Onondaga Comes Up Short

Onondaga and Waterville squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Onondaga had to settle for second. They took a hard 72-58 fall against the Waterville Indians. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 551st, while the Indians are ranked 198th).

Onondaga dropped their record down to 13-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Waterville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

As of now, neither Onondaga nor Waterville have any future games scheduled.
