 Crowley County scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  in Friday's  first game. They put the hurt on the Rocky Ford Meloneers with a sharp  20-11 victory. The result was nothing new for Crowley County, who have now won three matchups by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
  Seth Schultz was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Aiden Vowles, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.

 Crowley County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record  this season. As for Rocky Ford, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-4.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Crowley County beat Rocky Ford by a score of  18-2 later that day.
