Soccer Recap: Octorara Area Comes Up Short

Octorara Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Octorara Area of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Octorara Area's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-2. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Octorara Area and Lampeter-Strasburg could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Braves will face off against Donegal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (432 vs. 176). Meanwhile, Lampeter-Strasburg (ranked 337th) will meet Eastern Lebanon County (ranked 127th) at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
