The Apache Junction Prospectors will head out on the road to challenge the Gilbert Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Apache Junction's offense hasn't had much luck over their past nine games, but Monday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Apache Junction's offense might be in the hot seat on Monday considering what happened against Leading Edge Academy - GEC on Tuesday. They fell 13-0 to the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Gilbert Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 21-0 win. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona flag football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Warriors are ranked 106th).

Apache Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Gilbert Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
