Softball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

George Washington and Perkiomen Valley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but George Washington had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 19-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

George Washington's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Perkiomen Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

As of now, neither George Washington nor Perkiomen Valley have any future games scheduled.
