Football Game Preview: Chilhowee/Leeton vs. Northwest

Chilhowee/Leeton will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Northwest at 7:00 PM. Chilhowee/Leeton come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

Chilhowee/Leeton suffered a grim 6-40 defeat to Osceola last Friday.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to King City/Union Star in their previous match, Northwest were happy to find some success. Northwest took the game and then some with a 66-8 win over Kansas City East Christian Academy. Northwest were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Northwest's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Chilhowee/Leeton's loss dropped them down to 0-3. Chilhowee/Leeton's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Northwest defensive front that amassed 6 sacks against Kansas City East Christian Academy, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
