Volleyball Recap: Seaforth's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Seaforth had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Carrboro Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Seaforth was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12, 25-6.

Seaforth found their leader in sophomore Lucas Ferri, who had eight aces and one block.

Seaforth couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 42.1% of their attack attempts. That's the best hitting percentage they've posted all season.

Seaforth's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Carrboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
