Football Game Preview: Lewisville Farmers vs. Braswell Bengals + How To Watch

The Lewisville Farmers will venture away from home to take on the Braswell Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewisville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Lewisville gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They snuck past Marcus with a 33-28 win.

Lewisville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tenel Hill, who rushed for 126 yards and a pair of scores. The Farmers also got help from Traejan Mueller, who showed off his sure hands for 123 receiving yards.

Another reason for the win was Lewisville's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Marcus' QB won't forget Jason Cooper anytime soon given he sacked him three times. Cooper has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last three times he's played. Keegan Grubbs was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, while Braswell put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Little Elm. The Bengals blew past the Lobos, posting a 28-0 win. The Bengals haven't had any issues with the Lobos recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Braswell's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lewisville, their record now sits at 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Lewisville against Braswell when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-23 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bengals' Moses Adelowo, who rushed for 110 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Farmers to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
