Softball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Mishawaka Marian Knights

The Warsaw Tigers will challenge the Mishawaka Marian Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Warsaw took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over Jimtown.

Addison Eastwood spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Mia Rodriguez was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellyse Walters, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.

Mishawaka Marian not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2024. They put the hurt on West Noble with a sharp 14-5 victory.

Mishawaka Marian got a massive performance out of Halle Pedraza, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Chloe Weber, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
