Softball Recap: North Jackson Chiefs vs. Marion County Warriors
In what's become a running theme this season, North Jackson gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past the Marion County Warriors 15-5. The victory was nothing new for North Jackson as they're now sitting on five straight.
Darcy McClendon made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. McClendon has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. McClendon was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
