Volleyball Recap: Brevard Falls Despite Big Games from Morgan Baldridge and Addison Worley + How To Watch

If Brevard was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Patton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Henderson Falcons on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Addison Worley and Morgan Baldridge certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Worley had 14 digs and two assists, while Baldridge had 15 kills, eight digs, and three aces. Baldridge has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last five times she's played.

West Henderson was led to victory by Joelie Humiston and Arden Sullivan. Humiston had 16 digs, while Sullivan had 15 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Humiston has posted since back in August of 2024.

Brevard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Henderson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brevard is set to face off against their familiar foe Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, West Henderson will square off against rival Tuscola at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
