Volleyball Recap: Brevard Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Patton on Monday, Brevard came back down to earth. The Blue Devils fell 3-1 to the West Henderson Falcons on Thursday. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Morgan Baldridge paced Brevard's offense, picking up 15 kills. Baldridge got some help from Megan Pressley and her 21 assists. Baldridge was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leading West Henderson to victory were Arden Sullivan and Joelie Humiston. Sullivan had 21 digs and three aces, while Humiston had 19 digs and one assist. Those 19 digs gave Humiston a new career-high.

Brevard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for West Henderson, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Brevard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Franklin on the 26th. As for West Henderson, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Tuscola on the 26th.
